cupcakes & cocktails

fifty is fabulous!!

oh what a night...

celebrating her 50th birthday in style was the birthday girl's dream.

i was lucky enough to plan this event and it was sweet!

all of these amazing cupcakes were made by the birthday girl herself!

this was my inspiration for the evening. i knew the guest of honor is an audrey hepburn fan, so this sign was meant to be. it had to be our focal point of the night. pink it was and it made her very, very happy!

dinner, drinks and dancing the whole night through was the plan for the evening and i'd say a good time was had by all!!

the music had us ready to hit the dancefloor!

held at a local italian restaurant with a beautiful patio bar, our scenery was set.

with a few colorful details ...

our food was brought in and we were ready to party!

the "sweetscape" was in 3 colors with fitting descriptions of the birthday girl!

i have never seen anyone smile so much.
she was truly having the time of her life...

enjoying the company of her dearest friends,
 girls just wanna have fun!!

it was a girl's night out for all ages as we danced the night away...

and laughed
and twirled

until we were dancin' in the moonlight.

my favorite part of the night was how he lights danced on the poms!

and the incredible moment shared as the birthday girl's daughter sang to her mother
mylie cyrus' when i look at you.

of course no one left empty handed.

 goodie bags were stuffed
with a few of her favorite things...

godiva chocolate, bookmarks, cookies, parfume, lipsticks, ornaments and a cd of classical guitar music by her husband, george gaytan.
extra treats for the younger ladies were unicorn swirl pops and bubblegum soap sticks.

cupcakes in boxes were also a special treat

as well as decorated sugar cookies

it was truely a night to remember.
