words of wisdom...

My sister shared  this most meaningful message with me. After reading, it hit me straight to the bone. It condenses up my creative journey over the past few years. We all start out as beginners. Somewhere down the road we become experienced. But do we ever become our full potential?

That means so much to me. As I started my business I tinkered with many concepts. Should I just make treats? Parties? Both?  After years of evolving and growing, I found what is my biggest passion. Styling and creating parties. I love to see my cleint's eyes light up or tear up and honestly, to hear them rant and rave about me is sorta funny. To me, I'm just doin' my thing. It comes easy for me. I think nothing of it. It's true.

To get where I am today, is still no where near what I want to become. Every party I check off the calendar, no matter how incredible it was, is still not good enough for me. Yes, I've been featured on many national sites, been on live TV and have an upcoming local magazine interview on the way. Do I stop here? Have I accomplished all of my goals? Not even.

I continue to plan, create and inspire. Over the years I have taken any job, taken free jobs, worked my A-- off through blood sweat and tears to just get this far. This message means everything to me. Never give up! When your good just isn't good enough, onward ho!!  I set my standards so high, I may never reach them, but at least I know I've tried!!

This will be my last posting as I continue to switch my site over. It has been a long and interrupted journey as many parties this past month have taken so much of my time and energy. I look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Share with me your thoughts!! I'd love to hear them!
