Sprinkles!
We've all heard of them, but have you had them?
These super delish, ultra yummy cupcakes should be on your bucket list.
I love Sprinkles cupcakes and I frequent it every time I am in Dallas. I never made it to the bakery in Beverly Hills when I was in California. It was on our list of things to do, but the beach always won over.
If you watch Cupcake Wars, you know about Sprinkles founder,
Candace Nelson. Read about her here.
I want to start posting on my favorite cupcake bakeries, so let's start with who started it all...
My advise is to get there early. Everytime I go, the line is wrapped around the store.
They are always best when eaten THAT day. And do not refrigerate them. Rearrange your schedule to take them straight home, do not leave them in your car.
Here this little customer tries to decide which flavor. it is hard choosing from delicious flavors like:
Vanilla, red velvet, key lime, coconut (my fav), peanut butter cup, lemon, carrot, chocolate ganache, pumpkin, strawberry, double chocolate, and others...it's so hard to choose!
This summer's new favorite flavor is CHERRY!!
also available is a gluten free red velvet
In store and on-line you can purchase the mixes for your favorite flavor. You can also get cute t- shirts, tank tops, hats, cupcake stands and seasonal sugar cupcake toppers.
Here is what we came home with today...
red velvet, carrot, lemon
cherry, double chocolate, cherry
and yes, we ate them right then.
Those look amazing. We dont have a Sprinkles but they may be worth a two hour drive :)
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't believe how excited my kids and I were when one opened walking distance from our house!
