A Party from the Past
An amazing time was had by all who attended this
American Girl Tea Party.

Each girl was invited to bring their doll. They enjoyed doing their doll's hair, making jewelry for themselves and their special friend.
The Birthday Girl's favorite colors were pink and yellow. These colors were incorporated into the entire tablescape and dessert.
The table was set with china plates and tea cups. As we do for all of our tea parties.
Doing their doll's hair was a favorite activity.
Former model and ettiquette coach, Ms. Dixie gave the girls a lesson in social graces. They were so cute and paid attention to every detail. They learned how to greet and make new friends, sit like a young lady, walk like a lady and have poise and confidence. At the table, manners were reviewed and many questions were asked. It was the best part of the party!
Time for cupcakes and tea!
Pink lemonade was served and lemon berry cupcakes were enjoyed by all.
Each guest left with a bag full of American Girl goodies such as
posters, pencils, chocolate bars, trading cards and hair accessories.
Each guest also received their very own tea cup filled with pink candies
and personalized tea cup sugar cookie.
It was a fun day with friends!
