puppies on the patio

this was a party for a gal in san antonio who loves her puppies dearly. instead of gifts for her we had her guests make a donation to the animal defense league, which she is also board president of.

the invite and menu cards were designed by emily marcom designs, san antonio, who does all of my graphic designing work. they were a huge hit. you can not see the detail in the tiny picture of the menu card, but it was adorable. you can see the cookie tag below.


the guests were invited to bring their well behaved dogs on a leash. we had water bowls for them and puppy treats by tales of the city, dallas.



the "pupcakes" by kathy young, san antonio, were almost too cute to eat. the party favor puppy cookie was a sweet treat by debbie's cookies, san antonio.


i dressed the tables with the floral arrangements, various boutique style dog toys and rawhide dog bones tied up in bows. the guests had no problems taking those home for their canine companions as well!!


this party was full of "puppy love" and a great time. many guests raved how they enjoyed bringing their dog as a guest. it made for a fun morning. the hardest part about planning this party was finding a pet friendly restaurant . once one agreed, the patio was reserved for "puppies on the patio".
